LTB 002: 7 DAYS MASAI MARA / SERENGETI /
NGORONGORO / LAKE MANYARA

DAY 1: NAIROBI /MASAI MARA
Today our safari will lead us to the jewel of Kenya parks, the Masai
Mara
Game Reserve by road. Masai Mara is Kenya's most visited reserve and
a home to the "Big Five". The breathtaking views, a panorama
of fertile vast
rolling plains which supports a huge amount of resident plain games
and
their predators. Apart from the big five the Masai Mara is most famous
for
the annual spectacle of the wildebeest migration, where millions of
wildebeest, zebra and gazelle leave the plains of the Serengeti and
cross
the Mara River in search of fresh feeding grounds. Arriving in marasopa
lodge for lunch .After lunch a late afternoon game drive. Later you
will return to the camp for dinner and overnight (B, L, D).
DAY 2: MASAI MARA
each day will start with early morning game drive before dawn and
later
return to your camp for breakfast and relax for the rest of late morning.
Later, late afternoon return to the wilderness in search of games,
all meals
and overnight at camp (B, L, and D). or visit the masai village in
the
afternoon at extra cost of ksh 1000
DAY 3:MASAI MARA/SERENGETI
After breakfast depart for Sirare Boarder arriving at the border to
clear
with immiogartion and later proceed to Serengeti.
Note this IS the border enter on the western part this avoids going
back
to Nairobi.Dinnr and overnight at the seronella campiste
DAY 4: SERENGETI
Full day spent at the Serengeti with all the meals at the CAMP
DAY 5: SERENGETI/NGORONGORO
Morning spent in the park and later depart for an overnight at the
simba
campite.
Note from January this the only time you can spend at the crater and
this
are the other options.
DAY 6:NGORONGORO
RE: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR OPTIONS
PLEASE NOTE THAT AS FROM YEAR 2006 NGORONGORO CRATER
TOUR IS HALF-DAY GAME DRIVES OR HALF-DAY TOUR. WE HAVE CREATED TO
LOOK FOR OPTIONS TO FULFILL THE WHOLE DAY SAFARI AFTER THE HALF-DAY
TOUR GAME DRIVE INSIDE THE NGORONGORO CRATER. THESE ARE JUST OPTIONS
AND FOR CLIENTS WHO WILL REQUESTS FULL DAY TOUR IN NGORONGORO AREA
THE OPTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1) AFTER THE HALF-DAY GAME DRIVE INSIDE THE CRATER,
CLIENTS CAN HAVE
AFTERNOON WALK TO WATER FALLS AT KARATU, WALK TO SEE ELEPHANT CAVES,
BIRDS
WATCHING AND CULTURAL TOURISM. OVERNIGHT AT THE STANDARD LODGE /
STANDARD/BASIC CAMPSITES FULL BOARD.
2) AFTER THE HALF DAY GAME DRIVES INSIDE THE NGORONGORO
CRATER, CLIENTS CAN
DRIVE TO OLMOTI CRATER, HAVE A WALKING SAFARI AND LATER DRIVE BACK
TO THE
STANDARD LODGE / STANDARD/BASIC CAMPSITES FOR DINNER AND OVERNIGHT
FULL
BOARD.
3) AFTER THE HALF DAY GAME DRIVES INSIDE THE CRATER,
CLIENTS CAN HAVE
WALKING SAFARIS IN OLDEAN MOUNTAIN OR LEMAGRUT MOUNTAIN, OVERNIGHT
AT THE
STANDARD LODGE / STANDARD CAMPSITES
After the crater we will overnight at the Lake Manyara campsite for
there
is no need to overnight 2 night at the crater if you are not descending
twice we would rather cover another park that is the Lake Manyara
where we
have the tree climbing lions
DAY 7:LAKE MANYARA/ARUSHA/NAIROBI
Morning spent at the lake and later depart for Arsuha to arriving
in good
time to catch the shuttle bus back or spend more time at the Lake
departing
the manayara after lunch to overnight Arsuha in a hotel
