Kenya and Uganda Combined Safari 11 days
Day 1. Samburu National Reserve;
Depart Nairobi after breakfast to Samburu National Reserve. Arriving in
time for lunch. Afternoon game drive . Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2. Samburu.
Full day spent exploring this unique park with species rarely found elsewhere
like the unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx, Somali
ostrich, gerenuk and many others; morning and afternoon game drives. All
meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3. Lake Nukuru National park,
Depart Samburu in the morning for lake Nakuru National park arriving in
time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 4. Maasai Mara;
After breakfast depart for maasai mara via Narok Town arriving Maasai Mara
in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 5. Maasai Mara;
Full day in Maasai Mara, Morning and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight
at a lodge.
Day 6: Maasai Mara.
Another day to explore the plains of Mara. Morning and afternoon game drives.
All meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 7. Nairobi-Kampala.
After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Transfer
to the Airport for your flight to Kampala arriving late evening for overnight.
Day 8. Bwindi.
Morning breakfast then take a 5hour road transfer on a very good road to
the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Home to the mountain Gorillas. In
the evening take a Munyaga Trail to explore the freshness of the forest
on a nature walk along the River Munyaga. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi
Tented Camp.
Day 9. Gorilla Trek.
After breakfast report at the Park Offices for a briefing by the ranger
guides prior to the trek to find the Mountain Gorillas with picnic lunch.
The Gorillas are tracked, located and after approximately one hour with
them, return to base for a shower and cold drink. Dinner and overnight at
Bwindi Tented Camp.
Day 10. Lake Bunyonyi-Mbarara.
Travel to Kabale for lunch at the Lake Bunyonyi where you could also take
a canoe ride to explore the many Islands. Later depart for Mbarara arriving
for dinner and night stay at the Agip Motel.
Day 11. Entebbe Airport.
After morning breakfast transfer to Entebbe Airport for your after noon
flight out.
