LETC 007: (11nights/12days): Camping Safari to Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Parks and Zanzibar
Day 1
Depart in the afternoon from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 2
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Tarangire Park, Meals and overnight at the Camp.
Day 3
After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and set up camp. Ngorongoro Conservation Area's central feature is the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest intact caldera in the world and one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. The Olduvai Gorge in the neighborhood is the site where some of Africa's oldest hominid fossils were found. The Crater has densest predator population in Africa. Elephant, lion, zebra, wildebeest and a host of other resident animals are to be found here. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 4:
Morning and afternoon game drives at the Crater floor. Meals and overnight at the camp.
Day 5:
After breakfast leave for vast Serengeti National Park, Africa's most popular game reserve. There is an incredible number of animals in this vast game park. Wildebeest is the most populous followed by zebras. Elephant is notably scarce. Cheetahs and the rest of the big cats are regularly sighted in the plains. The few remaining endangered black rhino are restricted at the Moru Koppies area. The park is also famous for the wildebeests migration, often described as the most impressive spectacle in the world. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 6
Morning and afternoon game drives in the Park. Meals and overnight at the camp.
Day 7:
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park and set up camp. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Birdlife in the park is very broad. The home of tree-climbing lion, the park is also home to giraffes, hippo, zebra, and buffalo. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 8
After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive en-route to Arusha town in time for lunch. Later transfer to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Zanzibar airport meet and transfer to Mnarani Beach Cottages in the northern coast. Dinner and overnight at Mnarani
Day 9
Day at leisure. Breakfast, dinner and overnight at Mnarani Beach Cottages.
Day 10
Day at leisure. Breakfast, dinner and overnight at Mnarani Beach Cottages
Day 11
Day at leisure. Breakfast, dinner and overnight at Mnarani Beach Cottages
Day 12:
After breakfast, transfer to the Zanzibar airport for your flight back to Arusha
Tour may begin and end in Nairobi
Price for the above tour is US$ 2160 joining. Minimum four people.
NB: This safari can terminate on day 8 leaving out Zanzibar at US$1200
